KS3 & Year 10 Outdoor Adventurous Activities
On Tuesday 16th and Friday 19th May, KS3 and year 10 enjoyed their annual visit to Croome Court where they all took part in Outdoor and Adventurous activities. This week students were focusing on their orienteering skills. Two groups of students were asked to apply their map reading skills and knowledge of coordinates to plot their treasure in four different locations across the National Trust site. They then had to apply the knowledge they had learnt in their lessons to compete and retrieve the other team’s treasure.
It was great to see so many students developing their communication skills, work as a team and solve problems.
It was a great day out for both students and staff to develop their relationships, engage in physical activity and have fun whilst doing so.
Can anyone spot the red team’s treasure?
